Eat Out Kenya has launched Nomad, an East Africa focused travel magazine. It’s aim is to inspire and inform travellers through providing information on things to do and places that are close to home that are worth visiting . The first issue is already available in distribution points across Nairobi. The magazine is distributed for free(here is a list of drop off points), and will be published monthly. It will also be available issuu and its website nomadmagazine.co
The magazine was launched in response to a growing interest in travel in the region. The inaugural edition features content about Kampala, Nairobi, Kigali, and some of Kenya’s Rift Valley lakes. While the general interest of Nomad is producing content that encourages travels and makes it easier to make the decisions when travelling, it will have a slight bias towards the unplanned, the unpredictable and the uncomfortable that adds adventure to travel, as the editor notes in her first editorial.
Nomad is Eat Out’s second publication, after Yummy, a food and drinks focused magazine. Nomad maintains, if not slightly surpassing, the high quality and easily readable content that is associated with Yummy.
